Live Mobility Lab in Istanbul and 5 pilot sites in Europe
Alongside conducting frequent tests in Brussels, Madrid, Stockholm, and Amsterdam, we maintain a continuous live mobility laboratory in Istanbul’s live urban environment with 13 million daily commutes. In our laboratory we have live connection to commuters ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 on a continuous basis. We have the capacity to increase this number to 200,000 commutes. This is the world’s largest mobility laboratory giving us an ideal environment for developing and testing products and services.
Istanbul is densely populated with 18 million people and has a public infrastructure that is under great pressure.
Our pilots show that residents of the city are eager to turn the problems of daily commute and life into a new medium for safety and social connectivity. This tech savvy young population is in the global top 5 users of Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, and many other social apps. All these factors make Istanbul a perfect place for Lojika to develop and test its novel approach to mobility.
6 million daily commuters, 13 million daily commutes
Larger than the populations of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Ireland
1,3 million University Students
4x that of London
GDP of Istanbul is $800 billion by 2015 which is higher than the 35 sovereign states of Europe including Netherlands, Switzerland, Ireland, Nordics, Baltics, and all Mediterranean countries
ISTANBUL FOR RESILIENCE AND PLASTICITY
The city has natural and man-made extreme events with very high frequency. Even mild rains create flood related disruptions regularly. Snowfall is even worse. Sadly, Istanbul is also on a high-risk earthquake zone. As a result, the city’s population has developed a culture of self-reliance and resourcefulness. This culture, combined with urgent need of solutions, makes Istanbul a perfect place for MaaS related resilience applications.
In Lojika Live Mobility Lab, we are able to identify the potential micro influencers who will lead their peers for a better-prepared resilient society. We enable members of the society to discover their inner smart urban citizen by empowering each user with personalized product adaptation journey, we are building a more capable, more interactive, more connected and more responsible community for each MaaS product from the first day.
TAG, DynaHubs, and JACK provide a new integration model for MaaS services that connect cars, people, smart phones, and IoT devices in urban environments. Technologically speaking we operate peer-to-peer market places.
Meet members of our team! We work passionately to bring meaning into daily life. We cross continents by swimming, compete in bike races, run marathons, perform gigs, write poetry, publish magazines and support our local communities. We welcome diversity in harmony.
